About us
Katikati Naturist Park
The Park has been under new management since 2019, with Chris Novis being the new owner. Chris was born and raised here in New Zealand, spending most of his life living and working in a rural/coastal area of the Coromandal Peninsula. With such a beautiful environment to live, work and play in it is no wonder that Chris is a true Naturist himself.
Chris (the man with the chainsaw) has been in the process of tidying up the Park Grounds. This included trimming and/or removal of trees that have been hindering access into the Park for the larger Camper Homes, or the trees that have become a hazard. Chris has a passion for native trees and plants which have been planted around the Park. These native plants will enhance the attractiveness of the Park as well as encourage more bird life, including the Tui's and Kereru. The access to the river from the Glade has been opened up making the river easier to find.
Chris welcomes those of all ages to our Family friendly Park designed for people who enjoy being clothes free (weather permitting) and providing the opportunity to be one with Nature.
Katikati Naturist Park is the ideal place for your first naturist experience, or if you are already a committed naturist, it is the perfect place for your next break. It is an owner-operated naturist holiday park affiliated to the New Zealand Naturist Federation and the Tourism Industry Association of New Zealand. KNP offers many recreational facilities and a range of accommodation options. The park is a true naturist haven – situated alongside a clean, rocky river with tall, sheltering trees and surrounded by an abundance of native and exotic plants. As a result, our park is spacious, quiet and private.
The proprietors refuse entry to any person they consider undesirable, so guests can be assured their visit will not be marred by unwelcome attention. Unlike nudist beaches or clothes-optional resorts, there is no need to feel that some people are there simply to observe nudity. As part of this philosophy, you are expected to go clothes-free whenever the weather is suitable.
Child Curfew: For the safety and comfort of all Guests, all those 15 years and under are to be in their respective abodes by 8.30pm
Protecting and enhancing the physical environment is also an important part of the naturist way of life and embodies how the park itself is run.
